Luis Herrera

A local guy, Luis grew up in Brookfield and attended the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and I.T.T. Technical Institute.  With 11 years of architectural experience he joined Christopher Kidd & Associates in January of 2005.  Luis brought a new level of visualization technology to the firm.  Together with strong communication skills, creativity, and out of the box thinking Luis is active in the firms marketing efforts.  Outside of the office Luis enjoys time with his family, fitness, traveling, and volunteering as coach of Mighty Mite Soccer.

Andrew Johnson, PE

For over six years, Andrew has been designing plumbing, HVAC and mechanical systems in a wide array of building types.  Andrew is an analytical and detail-orientated engineer.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.  Andrew is registered in the state of Wisconsin as a Professional Engineer.  He is an active member of the local ASHRAE and ASPE chapters.  Away from the office, Andrew and his wife, Christina, care for their daughter Mia.  Andrew enjoys playing his guitar and fishing.

Sarah has been an integral part of Christopher Kidd & Associates, since 1995.  Sarah graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee with an Architectural degree and completed the certification in Urban Planning Studies.  She is currently pursuing her architectural license.  Sarah is a project manager at Christopher Kidd & Associates, and oversees the Colorado office.   She builds a positive relationship with clients and follows through with the multi-facets of a project.  Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her two boys and family members.  She loves anything competitive and participates in local tennis, volleyball, and soccer leagues.  Sarah also enjoys hiking in the Rocky Mountains and white-water rafting.
Brian Merwin
Architectural Intern
                                          


An industry professional of 25 years, Brian joined Christopher Kidd & Associates in 2004. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee with his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies. He is a technically savvy design professional with a discriminating eye for detail. His ability to prepare extremely thorough construction documents has made Brian a valuable asset to the company and those around him. When he is not at work or studying for his architect's license, you can find him out on his patio grilling (year round - in Wisconsin that is dedication!) and watching football.  Brian and his wife are licensed Foster Parents and have enjoyed the time they have spent caring for several children.

Mary Obermann
Financial Administrative Assistant
                                          


After honing her administrative and accounting skills for many years, Mary joined CKA in 2001. Basically responsible for anything with a dollar sign connected to it, she handles all aspects of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, contracts and Human Resources.  When finished with the daily crunching of numbers, Mary is a member of various music related councils at her daughter's high school, enjoys the performing arts, cooking, numerous family pets and the beautiful flora, fauna and wildlife that surrounds the rural setting where she lives.

Jordon O'Connor

Jordan began his career working as an architectural intern right out of school after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in May of 2008.  He plans to obtain a Master of Architecture degree in the future.  Jordan has participated in Habitat for Humanity and takes pleasure in wood working and remodeling as a hobby.  Jordan enjoys any outdoor activity, especially camping and traveling.

Aaron Phillips

Aaron finished his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies in May 2008 and joined Christopher Kidd & Associates.  His work ethic and drive is evident in his work and personal interests.  Aaron has a strong ability to manage several jobs in different phases all in which require detailed technical and engineering coordination. While outside of the office, he has used that same skill set to be a Two-Time National and Four-Time State Champion Powerlifter, along with accumulating 11 Wisconsin State Records.  When not in the gym or at work, Aaron can be found out on the softball diamond or collecting sport memorabilia.

Jason Pyne

Jason has been with Christopher Kidd & Associates for more than ten years and is an experienced project designer.  He received his Bachelors of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 1999.  Jason is an avid boater and fisherman as well as a music lover who enjoys attending shows on a regular basis.
